 Our new line of Hydro Dipped Hard Hats is now available in our Welding Helmets. This particular helmet features the Hades White, and each unique pattern covers the surface of the welding hood, and inside the pattern you will find a light Hades White print . Because each helmet is dipped one at a time, the placement of the pattern is slightly different making it different and special. And to finish the product, it is covered with a high gloss finish.
Starting with our best value auto darkening welding helmet by Pyramex, we proceed to the hydro dipping. Our auto darkening helmet reacts to the bright light from the welding process. Adjusting from the grinding process to the torch light, with an easy control knob on the left side of the helmet, you can adjust it from a shade 9 to a shade 13.
Measuring 4 inches wide by 2 inches high, the auto darkening welding lens is adjustable for sensitivity and delays to fine tune the shading of the hat.
These helmets have a lightweight, shell construction made with a high impact resistant nylon material. It also features an ergonomic design, with suspensions that adjust fully to get the best possible fit. The suspensions in the Pyramex auto darkening welding helmet adjust to fit the contour of the head as well as to adjust the tension making it easier to flip the hood up and down with ease.
To stay safe and perform your welds correctly, it has a high-speed lens that operates at 1/30000n seconds. The lens are powered by solar cells and a replaceable lithium battery. The Pyramex Auto Darkening helmet also comes with 4 independent arc sensors that are set up in a staggered design to deliver reliable arc detection.
Before hydro dipping with the design, each lens is removed from the shell and replaced back in the helmet, followed by testing for accuracy before being shipped.

- Since the welding hoods have been modified from the factory, we can not say they are ANSI approved; however, we are taking a NEW ANSI approved welding hood then adding several layers of paint, ink, and glossy coating to the outside shell.
- Being that the image is flat and it is being placed on a very rounded surface, the pattern might have a little stretching as it appears on the back of the welding hood, it kind of gives the look of a windswept affect towards the back of the welding helmet.
- Currently we have all the patterns in stock, and we can usually produce the hats in 1-2 days. However, in the case of back orders or larger orders there may be an additional 2-4 day lead time.
